I have a new pretty purse!
I'm a follower of Jesus, a military wife married to a hard working, involved man and a mom to 7. Our lives revolve around homeschooling, books, baseball (watching and playing), AWANA, piano, cello and gymnastics. Here are my honest thoughts on trying to make it all work and live life for the Lord the best I can.

Thea is 2!!!!
I have a new pretty purse!
6 week baby pics
Miss Eryn makes me smile!!!
Sleepin on daddy during Thea's b-day party
Look at me show off my double chin with a smile!!

I am definately filling out!! 6 weeks seems to be the magic age for getting chunky!

Blurry...but you can see how big she's getting. So cute, but makes this mama kind of sad.

Psalm 139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.

6 week update
I can hardly believe that Mareea is 6 weeks today. She is such a joy. She sleeps very well at night as long as she's in with mama and daddy. Most nights she goes to bed at 11 and will wake up once or twice by 8ish the next morning. She likes to nap in the mornings and afternoons and then be awake in the evenings. Around 8 she gets a little fussy and likes to be held, have her binky and take some cat naps. She also will nurse a lot during that time! She's become a great nurser. No more problems with that. Her chubby cheeks prove she's getting what she needs!
Today we went to Sears and got some pictures made. The other children each had their picture taken with the "big number" and we were able to get a sleeping one of Mareea. She was not very happy to be disturbed from her morning naptime! The other kids were wonderful and we were able to get all 5 kids pictures done as well as a group shot in about a 1/2 hour! After our pictures we went to the food court and ate a lunch we had brought from home. For lent, our family decided to give up going out to eat. While I think this sacrifice is biggest for me as the cook, I am happy that we will all remember Jesus' sacrifice whenever we are wanting to go out.
Eryn leaves this weekend and I am going to miss her so much! She has been here for 3 weeks and cooked every meal for us. I can't tell you what a blessing it has been. I really enjoy having some adult company during the day also and an extra set of hands to help me with a fussy baby or diaper changes. Not to mention she's watched the kids 3 times so Dan and I could go on dates and watched them every day while I pick up Q so I don't have to pack everyone up! I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do without her. :(
I have been online looking for some yummy recipies for us to try out. Maybe making some new exciting things will help with my lack of motivation when it comes to cooking.
I will post pictures when I get the email from sears!
