She really enjoyed preschool this year and I am so thankful that she had the opportunity to go. It was something I had never done before (and never though I would do), but I am thankful we gave it a try. Next year she will be home for Kindergarten, but she has these fun memories! I asked her if she wanted to go back next year for their junior kindergarten program, but she said no. She mentioned that she wanted to go to kindergarten, but I told her she would go at home and we would have so much fun. I am praying for a good co-op for her and Thea especially. They like to be at home, but also love to play with friends. The flexibility of homeschooling is sure nice.
I'm a follower of Jesus, a military wife married to a hard working, involved man and a mom to 7. Our lives revolve around homeschooling, books, baseball (watching and playing), AWANA, piano, cello and gymnastics. Here are my honest thoughts on trying to make it all work and live life for the Lord the best I can.

Random pictures that make me smile.
I guess not everyone thought taking a picture of military kids with the big flag was a good idea!
Practicing for the show with costumes on!
Notice 1. Ashton gripping Landon's arm 2. Landon gripping Thea's arm 3. Thea wearing a spiderman costume and 4. Evangeline is not in the picture at all. Ha!
Oldie, but goodie. Hanging out at one of our favorite spots on base, the skate park.
I had to take this picture because Giddy was sitting and playing nicely.
They are so sweet.
These children were troopers! I was in jeans and chilly at the Schofield pool. They toughed it out and had a great time swimming.
She has such a bright future!
My little guy.
He is risen indeed!!!
Another late post, but I had to get up our Easter pictures that a dear friend from church so kindly took for us. The older boys were a little unhappy with the picture taking as all their friends were gathering around starting at them LOL, but I think they turned out pretty well considering the amount of people we have! I think the second to last is the best? Any thoughts??
Just me and my baby (and her baby, too)
Evangeline loves to cuddle. She is not content to sleep unless she is snuggled between her daddy and me. We put her to bed in our bed and many nights she finds her way back downstairs to come and just be near us. She will lay her head down on daddy or me and fall right back to sleep.
AWANA awards day.
My girls worked so hard this year at AWANA. Thea finished 2 entire books and Mareea came in half way through the year and still managed to finish the first book. They learned so much scripture and I pray they keep it in their hearts forever. I feel so thankful for the volunteers who worked so selflessly with them each week and encouraged them in their faith and helped them to learn their verses. I am actually considering volunteering next year. The girls are practically begging me to help teach their class. We will see!
Thea's birthday
This post is LONG past due because of some computer problems we were having, but Thea had a great 7th birthday this year! She requested a trip to the Ice Palace and we were able to even have Daddy there with us! Thea skated so well even though she had never even tried before. The most difficult thing for me was finding warm clothes for everyone to wear! I had to laugh when I saw some locals wrapped up in towels instead of blankets inside. Yep...this ain't the mainland.
