Kauai Day 1!!!

Blurry picture as I was laughing so hard at Daddy trying to sweep with the "short broom".  "This broom is like, for short people!"  "This is NOT going to work".  Love my man who is quite keen on having clean floors. 

The next few posts will be pictures overload!  We had an amazing week long trip to the island of Kauai and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  It was like Oahu, but without the traffic, overcrowding and was much more green. 
Due to a 4 hour flight delay we were not able to do much our first day, but it was just fine.  We were blessed with a rental car worker who did some convincing to the PR person to get us a 15 passenger van so we would not have to take 2 cars and I can't tell you what a relief that was to me. 
I took some pictures of Evangeline since this was her first trip on an airplane.  She did so well.  No fussing or anything...OK, the flight was 30 minutes, but she is so good in general that I'm not surprised that she was an angel! 
In the evening we walked across the street to a beach with tons of driftwood and the kids had so much fun constructing with it.  I sure wish I had remembered my camera.  They begged to go back every night of vacation.  The best things in life are free obviously.
