Summer Soccer Camp

This is year 4 of attending AYSO's summer camp.  The organization brings in young coach's from the UK to travel the US hosting camps.  It is great fun.  The coach's are hilarious and have lots of energy and skills to teach the kids.  This post is extremely overdue, but I really wanted to blog about camp since it's been such a fun memory every year.

This was Gideon's first year to be old enough to attend camp.  He struggled a bit due to a personality conflict with another boy on the team...the kid punched him...but they seemed to work it out by the end of the week.  Thankfully the coach was not afraid to sit the other kid out whenever needed and the mom was supportive and apologetic.  I understood...our kids don't always act like we want them too, especially kids on the spectrum.
One day during the week is International Day.  I bet you can guess what each kid was.  I somehow didn't get Giddy in this picture, but he was a pretty awesome rep for Germany.
Our neighbor Cami shooting on goal with one of the coaches.
My pretty Thea girl.  She looks pretty Swedish, right/
The Russian flag-nosed Mareea shooting on Cami before camp started.
Landon fighting to take the ball from a kid who was a little too hand-sy.  Landon got it though.
