1. We found Mareea a toddler bed on craigslist for $25. She now will not nap and is quite a mess in the evenings. Even sitting next to her bed won't result in a nap. She just seems to wound up!
2. We are sick. Everyone except Q and A right now. It's a nasty cold, too! Yesterday I could hardly function and had to resort to a couple of cups of tea to make it to the Kroger to get the ingredients for Dan's birthday pie. Today I feel better, but won't be doing anything too demanding.
3.Dan turned 35. I love having an older husband. It makes me feel so young! (sorry, baby) The kids made him a recipe book with recipes they picked off of all recipes and drew a picture of Daddy cooking what they chose. We made a cute cover for it with pictures of all the kids on it. We put it all into a binder and we had a cute, sentimental and free present. I made him a mei tai (daddy-tai/man-tie/dad-tai) with all camo twill. Dinner was eaten at Quaker Steak and Lube, a tire was flattened on the way there and fixed on the way home, and we had homemade pumpkin pie when we got home. It was my first pumpkin pie making experience...I'm hoping next time it looks prettier.
4. Gideon is getting so big!! He has started cooing a ton and we all just ga-ga over it. We love to "talk" with our baby.
5. My camera has no batteries so i have no pictures of Mareea in her new bed, the growing baby or Dan's birthday party. It's quite depressing. I think I'll call my knight in shining armor and have him pick up some for me on his way home.
6. We are moving in a little over 3 weeks. We are almost positive we have renters for our house and we're busy doing all the things a family does before moving...and trying to figure out what to pack for our 3 month "in between" time.
