Baseball!

Opening game was Saturday and it was so much fun.  We've never done baseball before and I think it's great that the kids are getting to try something new.  Ashton is a pitcher for his team and pitched the whole game.   He was excited that he did not walk anyone.  He said the first inning he had trouble but got warmed up after that.  He also stole 2nd and 3rd and got to slide into home in the rain.  Great day for any boy!  (He was safe)
Landon and Thea both got two runs and two first base hits!  Landon got a grounder and threw it to first base.  The boy was out and it ended the game.  Landon and Thea have an amazing coach who has coached both high school and college and is so dedicated and excited about the sport.
I took some pictures but don't have them uploaded onto the computer yet.  A mom on Ashton's team takes amazing pictures and sends them to us.  Here is one of Ashton catching a pop up while pitching.

We are very excited that next weekend Grandma and Grandpa will be here to watch with us.
