Friends

Today has been a good day! We did story time, school and a trip to the big park before lunch. The boys enjoyed chasing each other around the park and getting lots of energy out. After lunch I put the boys to bed and got 2 surprise phone calls from friends I haven't talked to in quite awhile. It was wonderful to catch up and chat with them again. They have kids the same ages as mine so we're at the same point in our lives and it's fun to talk to people who can really relate! Thank you for being my friend ladies :).
Now my boys are busy making a mess of various toys in the house. It's not a big deal though, because they're playing nice together and having a good time. I've noticed since we started homeschooling that all of them are learning to play well with each other and by themselves. I'll often see them at the table making pictures with the pattern blocks together or on the floor making jails of Lego's for the "bad guys". I love to see their creativity take off. It's nice that I don't have to entertain them constantly or put on the TV for them to have peace in the house. Although, if I was to pull out the scrapbooking stuff right now I think they would be a different story...LOL. They'd be quite interested in my supplies and that might get frustrating.
