Dan took someones duty so he wasn't home today for church. I got the kids there (about 10 minutes late) and by the time I got A and L in the nursery and into church there was no where to sit. There were places, but I have to sort of be on the end near the back with the baby and her big car seat. She's discovered her voice and likes to happy scream a lot, and I didn't want to be up in the front row with her doing that. So I went back to the nursery and got the boys and we left. It was kind of embarrassing, and I was practically in tears over the ordeal. We went to the walmart and got some fabric and the pictures I had printed for T's baby book.
Tonight we went to the commissary after dinner. The boys were really good. After we got home and out of the car I heard Q opening the back. By the time I got back there all 3 of the boys had bags over their arms and were on their way to the house. Praise God! I only had to carry in 2 bags. We got inside and Q went right to work putting away the vegetables in the fridge. A was putting the bananas up on the counter where they belong and L was trying to put the chicken nuggets in the refrigerator. What good helpers I have.
We went outside and chatted with the neighbors. Their daughter is 13 years old and homeschooled. We worked it out for her to come over 2 mornings a week for a 1/2 hour or so and do some art type activities with A and L while I work with Q. I am so excited!! I have lots of craft supplies for them, but rarely have the time to get it all out. Lindsay will be supervising them and cleaning up after and I'm just so thrilled about it. I really think that they will enjoy it.
Today's funny story...
While at the neighbors A and L were playing with their cat. I heard A laugh and then L start to cry. I asked what happened and A said, "the kitty ate him" about L. Brenda and I had to cover our mouths to keep them from seeing our laughter.
It is bedtime, I can't believe how tired I am at 9:30!
