Ashton started to learn cursive today. I ordered his book, but thought we'd just get him started by doing some work with this dry erase book I got at Goodwill.
It has been raining and raining. We had a storm last night that scared me to death. Today our yard was filling up with water and Landon decided to get a ruler and measure how high it was. This was totally unprompted by me and I was excited to see him usuing that initiative.
The girls had a blast at ballet this afternoon. They're learning their dance for the recitle and we saw their costumes today. They are beautiful! I'm so excited that they're white since Mareea looks great in white. Red heads don't look good in every color :)
After ballet we went to the library and Landon got some inspriation from a craft book. He made these wings to try and fly. He also made a HUGE paper airplane and tried to fly while lying on it. LOL Ashton and I laughed so hard. Ashton and Quintin are working a lot on getting awards with their Contenders of the Faith book. It's a club sort of like Boy Scouts. We are unable to participate in Boy Scouts right now so this is a good substitute. Q is learning French and Ashton is going to make ice cream, learn about Kansas and missionaries. I'm excited for them to learn some new skills.
