Company!!

We have lived in Hawaii four years now and at certain points I have gotten pretty overwhelmed and asked friends to come out and visit.  It has not worked out, and I understand that moms of many have very busy lives and can't just escape to Hawaii whenever!  But we have not had any visitors besides Grandma and Grandpa and that is a little sad. 
Well, my friend Ann and her husband Jack came to visit us for a week!  These awesome parents of 10 kids came on a couples trip to our island.  Originally I was worried that they would feel like there were too many kids around since they were on a couple's trip, but that was not the case at all.  They played Foosball, board games and colored with my kids and all of them adored having Ann and Jack here.  They were also able to get out and do many things around the island, too.  I really think they had a great trip. 
They were an encouragement to Dan and I also.  What positive people!  They were excited about everything the kids told them and I gleaned a lot of wisdom on teens...they have 6 of them at home right now!  wow! 
I hope they will leave a glowing review and others will come to visit us.  It's a free place to stay and free vehicle to use, people, come on and visit!!!
