Mareea is 3!

This post is quite late, but Mareea turned 3 on January 15.  It was such a fun day.  We decorated with pink streamers and balloons the night before.  Mareea had been telling us she wanted a princess party for a long time and we had fun making one for her.  She picked out pink cake mix and asked for pink frosting.

She chose to go to the beach for her birthday activity.  She had wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's but it's just too crowded on the weekends.

Dan and I picked out her presents so she was able to kind of have Daddy at her party.  She's loved this castle.  It's played with daily.  I am pretty impressed with the quality of it, too!  I was worried it would be kind of cheap, but it's proved to be quite sturdy so far.  We also got her a Spot DVD and a Frog and Toad audio book on CD.  She likes the spot video, but does not want to listen to frog and toad at night.  No idea why.  We also have Little Bear and she's not interested.  Oh well, she likes them in the car so that's good. 

Everyone loves the castle!  The day after her birthday I walked into A and L's room to find them playing with it.  They've not played with it since so i guess they were just checking it out.
