"Technically Healthier Brownies"

I call these "technically healthier brownies" because I made some substitutions that make them "technically healthier", but in the end it's still sugar, oil and flour :) But still...technically they're healthier!


1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp. coconut oil (read about it's health benefits here)
3/4 cup turbinado (raw sugar)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup walnuts (optional, but walnuts are good for the heart so I add them!)
6 Tbsp. baking cocoa

1.Cream oil, turbinado and vanilla
2. beat in eggs
3. blend in cocoa
4. Stir in flours and nuts

5. Bake in greased 8x8x2 baking pan at 325 degrees for 30-35 min.

6. Cool and enjoy!
