I make my diapers assembly line style and find it saves a lot of time. So far I have cut out the outers (both layers), sewn on the waist aplix and cut out the micro fleece inners. Hoping tomorrow will be pinning the outers to the inners.
Here are the fun outers cut out. I chose a mix of girlie and gender neutral fabrics in case we have a boy next. Also, if I decide to sell them I will be able to sell them more easily if some are gender neutral.
Brandy's awesome blog motivated me to remake these too small PJ pants into something we can use.
These PJs were used a ton for both girls and I think possibly even handed down to them from Sue. Now they are too small and the shirt has gone missing. I decided to make them into bike shorts to be used for modesty under skirts.
I had planned on just cutting and hemming, but a tutorial on Our Ash Grove used a cuff method and I loved not having to hem! How I wish I had done this to all the too small PJ pants the boys had awhile back. They would have made wonderful boxer briefs.
And here is a picture of sweet Evangeline enjoying some grandma time.

Our Ash Grove also has a post up about making wool long underwear which I think I may try. Seems like it would be much cheaper!
