Crafting this week

I decided to try and limit my sewing posts to once a week :)  So here it is, late Saturday night and I've decided it's a good time to post them.  (For whatever reason late nights seem to make me want to do strange things like post sewing projects or make lists of what a new baby needs...)

First, I want to share how excited I am about Thea and Mareea's Christmas presents that are on their way to our home right now!  Brandy made these beautiful girlies for my girlies and I am over the moon excited about them.  How will I wait until Christmas to give them to the girls??  Can you guess which doll is for which girl?

OK...sewing...For whatever reason, I went a little crazy sewing this past week and a half.  It started with the diapers that were in need of being made.  That got me excited about creating again and led to several other projects that had been left too long and some sewing for a new baby next door...just because the machine was out and the fabric is so cute.

This outfit has been months coming!  I was going to make a skirt, but then decided that I actually wanted Thea to wear it so I made a pants pattern from her PJ pants to make these.  She really likes them.  I used the halter top tutorial to make the shirt.

I felt a compelling urge to use up some of my fabric stash.  I made these 4 baby doll mei tais for some mamas on a local FB group I am a part of.

And then I made a few more to try and sell either on etsy or locally.

Mareea and Thea had to be bribed to take these pictures.  They were the most unwilling models ever.  I told Thea that everyone wants to be a model and she was getting to be one at age 5!  She said, "Well, not me".  Nope...Thea is definitely not like "everyone".

And this one is going to a friend who lived next door to me in the dorm Freshman year.  We caught up through facebook and discovered that we have a lot in common now...lots of little ones :)  I enjoy getting to know people from the past again,  especially when the common bond is motherhood of littles.  Not everyone can understand what it is like to have so many so little, so it's nice to find some others who know exactly what you're going through.

I'm not sure what I will work on next.  There are some things that need to be made for Christmas so I guess I'd better get going on it.
