the beach!! Pictures added

Yesterday got up to 85 and we took a fun trip to the beach. The children were thrilled to be able to wear their swim suits and actually go in the water. When we got there they jumped in up to their knees and ran around and looked so happy. Reea asked me to hold her hand and go in so we went to the edge of the water and BRRRR!!! It was so cold! Honestly, it felt like ice that had just melted. My feet went numb almost immediately. However, there were the kids running around and splashing in it. Mareea burst into tears as soon as the water touched her feet, but Thea held her hand and was able to walk her in a little further. I took some cute pictures, but cannot get blogger to post them! Gid was not impressed with the beach. he would fall asleep in the stroller and start crying as soon as the wind would blow! He was fine once I got him out of the stroller and held him. I just was very worried about him getting sunburned. Thank goodness for his sun hat! We're liking it here! So many outside and free things to do. Over the weekend we went to Westmorland State Park. We went on a short hike that lead to a beautiful beach where the kids could "pan" for shark's teeth. We had not brought the proper tools (nor had we worn the proper clothes) but a nice family let us use their screen and shovel and the boys loved it. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my camera! We will definitely be going there again soon.
