Westmoreland State Park
We had a beautiful day for a long hike and beach visit at Westmoreland State Park. The kids did wonderful. We hiked about 2 1/2 miles and they did not complain or even slow down. We found a large turtle, a salamander and a snake. Thankfully I remembered to bring my camera this time as it was just beautiful with the new spring leaves making everything look so fresh and green. As long as I live I will never forget hiking with these children. I love their excitement as we enter the trail and they start to run. I love to see their backs as they run with the beautiful trees on either side of them. We've made such wonderful memories on the many trails we've hiked and enjoyed together.
