I really like cloth diapering...at least in my head I do. Recently I'd decided to quit cloth diapering and sell all of our stash at a local "diaper swap". The reason we had quit was that I had gotten tired of washing them and with amazon mom I could get disposables for so little. It's really not that big of a deal, but my washer is in the basement and I hated having to go downstairs and be taken away from whatever I was doing. With six kids, I need every spare minute! So I go to the swap and see all the cute diapers and talk cloth diapers with all the other moms and end up buying more cloth diapers...and selling none. Sooooo....I'm going to try out prefolds and see how we like those. We had been using bum genius one size, but I did not like how big they made Gid's rear look! I bought a Gro-Via and loved it, but I just can't afford to buy more than one $23 diaper. I'm going to try and buy some used if I happen to be on diaperswappers, but for now I'll just go back to our fitteds with covers that I made for him and try out the prefolds. I'm hoping washing prefolds won't be as big of a deal!
One would think I would have something better to post about than diapers, but apparently not! Maybe when we start school in september I will be more interesting.
