Father's Day

We are enjoying a wonderful Father's Day!  It is beautiful outside and I am sitting down nursing and getting ready to put baby Gideon to bed.

We started out the day with a yummy egg casserole I had made the night before.  We tried out a new church (that starts at 9am) so we were actually able to get out the door and to church on time!  After we ate we opened presents and headed off.  We gave Daddy a gift card to the NEX so that he could get a Keurig coffee maker.  He'd been wanting one for some time, but hadn't wanted to dish out the money for it.  We headed to the NEX after church and he got the type he wanted along with some of the individual cup things (whatever they're called) to use in it.  He was even nice enough to buy all of us non-coffee drinkers hot chocolate cups!

Here are some pictures of us doing our best to bless the Best Daddy in the World!

Quintin painted this stein in Colonial Beach at his pottery class.  He came to the studio and worked for Miss Hannah to earn the money to buy it and paint it.

We wrapped the gift card in this big box to throw him off.

We made a sign for Daddy by painted each child's hand and Gid's foot.

I love my Kuerig! Best money I have ever spent. I use it for coffee and tea. I usually buy the cups at BBandBeyond when I have the 20% off coupons. :)

Glad you guys had such a good day!

That's a great idea, megan! I wonder if there's one around here. I saw some iced tea ones at TJ Maxx, too.
